MCES is very proud of all the students who were excited and motivated to complete school work during summer vacation. The students received a learning packet that contained a novel, comprehension questions with a literary log to complete, math activities and science investigations. There were enough standards-based activities to keep them busy learning throughout the summer. The students returned their packets at the beginning of the school year. Principal Miriam Daniels proudly gave each “student scholar” a much deserved gold medal.
