Birthday Present for KES

Kensington Elementary School received a special gift on the 50th birthday of the school's opening. In May, Media Specialist Jenny Cox and RTI Specialist Amy Condon applied for a back-to-school grant offered by Dollar General requesting $5000 to purchase leveled sets of guided reading books to support the Balanced Literacy initiative at KES. Coincidentally, the check arrived during the celebration of KES's 50th birthday. Thank you Dollar General!
