Georgetown Rotary Club Provides Dictionaries to Students

The Georgetown Rotary Club recently donated dictionaries to all third grade students at Kensington, Pleasant Hill and Plantersville elementary schools. The club also gave dictionaries to the Marine Institute, YMCA and Tara Hall. Georgetown County School District Superintendent Dr. Randy Dozier, who also is President of the Georgetown Rotary Club, and Alan Walters, Governor of Rotary District 7770, handed out dictionaries at Kensington Elementary School. Members of the five Rotary clubs in Georgetown County have donated more than 10,000 dictionaries in the past 11 years to third grade students in the county.
