Rosemary Middle Students Enjoy Career Fair
On November 17, Rosemary Middle School students learned a lot about many jobs during Career Day. More than 30 presenters from the community participated and represented all the career clusters. Among the many presenters were Dr. Randy Dozier, Superintendent of Georgetown County School District; architect Michael Benton; Darren Holmes, Director of Talent Search at HGTC; Cary Farrow, Georgetown Memorial Hospital recruiter; police officer Jennifer Flowers; Eurofins chemist Marvin Boyd; and Jeff Ward from One Stop. Each presenter shared information about his or her job description, educational requirements, specific academic subjects used daily, work conditions, job skills, interpersonal skills, salary range and employment outlook. Rosemary students showed their appreciation by actively participating in the discussions and activities.
