GMS Student Council Food Drive Collects More Than 1,200 Items
Georgetown Middle School’s student council held a November food drive that brought in more than1,200 canned/boxed food items. The items were donated to St. Cyprian, a charity that will help anyone in need with no questions asked. The student council members collected the food, boxed the food for transport, and loaded the food into two trucks. The class that brought in the most canned food was Jennifer Merritt’s homeroom, with over 250 items. These hard-working Georgetown Middle School students -- and those who donated items -- will make the holidays better for some families in need.
