Soldier Visits KES Before Deployment

Sgt. Heath Todd recently visited Kensington Elementary School. He shared with the students information about his job in the Georgetown National Guard. The students were very excited to try on Sgt. Todd's military helmet and vest and they also were each presented with a gift. He will be leaving in January to Afghanistan with his National Guard unit. The students are planning on writing letters and sending care packages to Sgt. Todd once he gets to Afghanistan. As a child, Sgt. Todd attended Kensington Elementary School. Good luck to Sgt. Todd and the entire Georgetown National Guard.
