WES Students Enjoy Harvest Jamboree
Waccamaw Elementary recently held its second annual Harvest Jamboree, which focuses on health and fitness. It was great fun for the students, teachers, parents, volunteers and our Superintendent, Dr. Randy Dozier. The Jamboree featured many competitions. Also, there was health information presented by the Red Cross, American Cancer Society, Waccamaw Chiropractic, Shoreline Behavioral Health Services and the Murrell's Inlet Elks Lodge. In addition to individual prizes for student winners, one girl and one boy from each grade level was awarded a harvest basket, which was donated by Texas Roadhouse, Piggly Wiggly and Bi-Lo.
