Schools Compete in Academic Fair

Georgetown County School District's annual Academic Fair was very successful January 23 at Georgetown Middle School. Waccamaw Intermediate School won the Grade 6 competition, with Rosemary Middle placing second and Georgetown Middle coming in third. In the Grade 5 competition, Waccamaw Intermediate finished first, followed by Kensington Elementary in second and Maryville Elementary finished third. In the Grade 3/4 competition, Kensington Elementary finished in a first-place tie with Waccamaw Elementary/Waccamaw Intermediate, with Andrews Elementary placing second and Pleasant Hill Elementary coming in third.
