PES Health Project Wins Award

Plantersville Elementary received the All-Health Project DHEC Monthly Award of $500 for the "Stop the Silent Killer: Learning How to Combat High-Blood Pressure" education program coordinated by school nurse, Laura Tucker. Twenty-one students from Plantersville will be highlighted in an upcoming TV commercial on WIS-10. The students, teachers and Tucker received prizes and T-shirts, and will now be eligible for the grand prizes of $2,000, $3,000 or $5,000, which will be awarded in May.
