Teacher Forum Honors School Board

January is School Board Appreciation Month and the Georgetown County School Board was honored January 21 with a "Souper" Celebration by the district Teacher Forum. The event had a Super Bowl theme. Teachers of the Year from district schools, their principals, and board members wore jerseys from their favorite sports teams at the event at the J.B. Beck Administration and Education Center. Waccamaw High cheerleaders and the Waccamaw Intermediate School Steel Drum Band performed. The event was capped by a "souper" meal.
