McDonald Elementary Recognized at Palmetto's Finest
McDonald Elementary Principal Miriam Daniels represented the school on stage at the Koger Center in Columbia at the 32nd annual Palmetto's Finest awards ceremony March 23. A large number of individuals made the trip to Columbia in support of McDonald Elementary, which was a finalist for the third consecutive year. While McDonald did not win, Daniels noted with tremendous pride the fantastic school family at McDonald, consisting of students, parents, staff, community members and district support. "This was a great event and I could not be more proud to represent our McDonald family here tonight," she said, smiling. Elementary school winners were Woodland Heights of Spartanburg District Six and Killian Elementary of Richland District Two. Wade Hampton and Riverside won the high school and middle school awards, respectively. Both are from Greenville County Schools. Congratulations, McDonald Elementary School!
