$28,000 Contributed to United Way

Andrews Elementary and Pleasant Hill Elementary schools had 100 percent staff contributions during the recent United Way campaign, which raised more than $28,000 in the Georgetown County School District. Pleasant Hill Elementary students contributed $1,200 and Andrews Elementary students contributed $775. GCSD’s Human Resources department also had 100 percent of its employees contribute.
Each of the schools and HR was presented two tickets to The Palace Theatre to attend the Grand Cirque. The schools and HR will have drawings to determine the winners of the tickets.
