Fill-the-Bus Campaign Set for August 6-8

David Almonte, coordinator of the Fill-the-Bus Campaign, loads school supplies on a bus to kick off the annual drive to collect materials for children who might otherwise go without. The Fill-the-Bus Campaign will be August 6-8 at Wal-Mart in Georgetown, Fred's in Andrews and the K-Mart at Inlet Square Mall. The collection times at each of the locations is: Friday 1-6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.; Sunday, 1-6 p.m. Anyone unable to donate during these times may bring items to the Georgetown County School District's J.B. Beck Administration and Education Center at 2018 Church Street in Georgetown between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. August 6-8 is the Tax-Free Weekend in South Carolina. Please use this opportunity to donate school supplies for children who need them.
