  Mrs. Myrtle Brown Milton

Myrtle Brown Milton is married to Hobson Henry Milton and is the mother of two daughters; Mikayla, a graduate student at the University of South Carolina and Maya, a junior also at the University of South Carolina.  She is a native of Georgetown, SC, and a graduate of Choppee High School.  Milton has a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Ashworth University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Kaplan University.

She currently serves as Executive Director for Support Staff Personnel with Georgetown County School District and has been employed with the district for 21 years. Mrs. Milton has also coordinated and directed weddings for 18 years. She frequently serves as a judge and coach for pageants across Georgetown, Horry, and Williamsburg Counties.

Mrs.  Myrtle Milton is an active member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. At Mt. Sinai, she serves as the Youth Director, Women’s Conference Committee President, Sunday School Director, Assistant Church clerk and many other roles. Mrs. Milton is a Board Member with Miss Ruby’s Kids and Jared’s Heart of Success. She believes wholeheartedly in supporting non-profits with a vision that encompasses the well-being of children.

Possessing a resilient passion for equipping young girls with the knowledge they need to discover their true abilities, Mrs. Milton along with her husband, Henry are founders of CHARM (Character, Honesty, and Respect Matters) Mentoring Services.  CHARM Mentoring’s goal is to recognize and celebrate the whole being of each young lady. Through CHARM, she has been instrumental in hosting seminars and retreats that focus on education, self-esteem, beauty and character. They are also the owners and operators of Milton and Son Renovating. In her spare time, she enjoys event planning, writing church plays, traveling and shopping.
