Georgetown High defeated Waccamaw High 12-5 in the final round of the 2023 Senior Academic Bowl held February 28 at the J.B. Beck Administration and Education Center. Also competing were teams from Andrews High and Carvers Bay High.

All-Star Team members, and the number of correct answers provided, were Joshua Fulton, 12, GHS; William Goldstein, 12, WHS; Aaron Owenby, 8, CBHS; Sean Hendrix, 4, WHS; Jackson Kaylor, 3, WHS; and George Danysh, 3, WHS.
