Georgetown County School District families are encouraged to participate in the 2026 Parent and Guardian School Climate Survey administered annually by the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE). The anonymous survey provides parents and guardians an opportunity to share feedback about their child’s school and overall school experience.
The survey is available to all GCSD families through the Parent Portal. Directions for accessing the survey are available below in both English and Spanish. Families who do not currently have a Parent Portal account should contact their child’s school for assistance.

The survey will remain open through April 17, 2026. Parents and guardians with more than one child enrolled in a school may choose to complete a survey for each student.
Feedback gathered through the School Climate Survey helps schools and the district better understand family perspectives and identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement. GCSD encourages all families to take advantage of this opportunity to share their input.
