Today marked the final #GCSDReads visit of the 2025–2026 school year at Plantersville Elementary Digital Immersion School. Superintendent Dr. Bethany Giles, Federick Cohens, and Jill Holt spent time with students sharing stories and celebrating the joy of reading.
As we conclude our third year of #GCSDReads, we reflect on the impact of bringing stories into classrooms across Georgetown County School District. Each visit was an opportunity to spark imagination, build knowledge, and remind students that reading opens doors to endless possibilities.
