The 2025–2026 school year is officially underway at Andrews Elementary, and the excitement is already filling our halls! From smiling faces on the first day to the sound of learning and laughter in every classroom, it’s clear that our AES family is ready to make this year our best yet.
Our school motto, We Are 1, has been a guiding message at Andrews Elementary for the past two years, reminding us that we are a family — students, staff, and community — united in purpose and dedicated to helping every child grow, succeed, and feel valued.
This year, we are building on that strong foundation with our new theme: Stronger Together. These words remind us that by working side by side — supporting one another, respecting differences, and celebrating each other’s successes — we can accomplish more than we ever could alone.
We’re also excited to announce that Andrews Elementary is now a Leader in Me school! Through this leadership framework, students will learn and practice important life skills such as responsibility, goal-setting, teamwork, and problem-solving. Every grade level will participate in engaging lessons designed to empower students to take ownership of their learning, lead by example, and positively impact our school and community.
This year, you’ll see these values in action everywhere you look — in group projects, acts of kindness, school events, and community partnerships. Together, we’ll read new books, solve new problems, make new friends, and discover new strengths.
