Carvers Bay, it's time to READ!!!
Read Across Georgetown is a county-wide celebration of reading during Read Across America Week - March 2-6.
Each attendance area has a day to spotlight reading at their schools, and Wednesday, March 4th is Community Reading Day for readers throughout the county to participate!
Students will log their minutes at school on Beanstack.
How does the community participate?
Read anything.
Count how many minutes you read.
Post your total on March 4 on Facebook.
Use the hashtag: #ReadAcrossGeorgetown
We will track the hashtag to help calculate a county-wide total.
Optional:
• Share a photo
• Share your book title
• Tag your business or organization
No forms.
No sign-ups.
Just reading.

February 9th from 8:45 - 9:15
A representative from The Citadel will be on campus to discuss opportunities.

Grades 10, 11, and 12:
February 24th from 2:30 - 3:30
Sgt Ray with the SC Army National Guard will be here to share an ASVAB study session.
Students will get to work through a practice ASVAB.
Students must register using the Google Form (https://forms.gle/r4BVNFbq54fK7Gch8) or sign up in the front office.
ASVAB is tentatively scheduled for juniors and registered seniors on March 19th
