Senior Pictures for the Class of 2026: Prestige Portraits is offering $30 Essential Sessions (three outfits) and $20 Mini Sessions (two outfits). The link to schedule a session at school is https://prestigeportraits.com. Students can search for their school's Prestige Portraits event by selecting their city and state and then putting in their first and last name. Don't forget to schedule an appointment!

Class of 2026: Senior Pictures will be taken on July 15 & 16 from 9:00am-4:00pm and July 17 from 9:00am - 12:00 noon in the auditorium. Look for an email from Lifetouch for more information and to schedule your appointment.

Georgetown High School Graduation Update: Location Change & Important Information Due to expected inclement weather, Georgetown High School’s graduation ceremony will be held in the GHS gymnasium. Please carefully review the following guidelines to ensure a smooth and safe event: GRADUATE REPORT TIME & LOCATION • Graduates should report to the GHS cafeteria no later than 6:30 PM. • Only graduates will be allowed to enter through the front doors of Georgetown High School. GUEST ENTRY & TICKETS • Doors will open at 6:00 PM. • Please arrive early and allow extra time for parking, entry, and security checks. • Tickets are marked “Admit One to GYM” or “Admit One to AUDITORIUM” – see picture below. o Only those with “GYM” tickets will be admitted into the gym. o Only those with “AUDITORIUM” tickets will be admitted into the auditorium. • No one without a ticket will be admitted to either location. • Gym doors will close promptly at 7:25 PM and will not reopen. Late arrivals with “GYM” tickets will be redirected to the auditorium. ENTRY LOCATIONS • “GYM” ticket holders: Enter at the main gym doors. • “AUDITORIUM” ticket holders: Enter at the main auditorium doors. LIVESTREAM • A livestream of the graduation ceremony (via Georgetown County School District Facebook page) will be shown in the auditorium for those seated there. SAFETY & SECURITY • Security checks will be conducted at all entrances. • Bags are subject to search. • The following items are NOT permitted: o Balloons o Noise makers o Signs/Posters o Large bags o Outside food or drinks o Vases of flowers HANDICAP PARKING • Handicap parking is available in front of the gym. • A valid handicap decal is required to park in this area. Congratulations to our GHS athletes that signed today! Zack Krause signed with Morris College to play baseball. Imari Jordan will be playing softball at Shaw University. Joshua Canteen will create new records on the Coastal Carolina University Track & Field team. Daniea Kelly, Nevaeh Pierce, and Jaekel Joye will compete in Track & Field for Voorhees College. Cayden Dease will go to the next level on the wrestling mat for Newberry College. Way To Go Bulldogs!

Our international student from Spain, Berta Ruiz led us in the Pledge of Allegiance this morning. She did a great job! We are proud to have her as a Bulldog!

Congratulations to Georgetown's Navy JROTC graduating Cadets Jacob Nesbitt and Rivers Ramsing as they were each awarded $3000 college scholarships from the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), Grand Strand Chapter! The award was based upon their demonstrated outstanding citizenship, personal responsibility, and service to their community and country as a member of the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. Jacob Nesbitt will represent the Military Officers Association of America riding in their convertible in the Military Appreciation Days Parade in Market Commons on Saturday, May 24th, at 10:00am.

Senior Awards takes place on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 6:00pm in the auditorium. Scholarships and cords will be awarded, along with recognition of Valedictorian, Salutatorian, Highest Honor Graduates, and Honor Graduates.

Congratulations to the Boys Golf Team on a team total of 371 at the Lower State Golf Tournament in Newberry, SC. Senior Devin Thompkins led the Bulldogs with an 81. He is entered in the State Championship event next Monday/Tuesday at the Newberry Golf Club.
