We are excited to announce that Georgetown High School has shown tremendous growth. In one year, we improved in 5 categories and went from being "Below Average" to Average. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, parents, and administration. GHS Homecoming Dance will be held Saturday, Oct. 25 from 7-10 p.m. in the Auxiliary Gym. Tickets will be $25 and sold online only from Oct. 13-24. Students must get a passcode in person during lunches to purchase their ticket and must have their school issued ID. Passcodes will not be emailed or given over the phone. No tickets will be sold on Saturday or at the door. Only GHS students may attend with a ticket and must have their school issued ID to enter.

Wear your Orange to support Unity Day on Wednesday, Oct. 22!

Underclassmen Make-up Pictures will be taken on Monday, October 20, during the school day. See your homeroom teacher if you have not received your picture proofs yet from the 1st day of pictures.

A Parent Attendance Workshop will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 7:30am- 8:30am in the GHS auditorium. Have your questions answered about the new GCSD attendance policy.

Cross Country Pizza Sale will take place on Friday, October 17 during both lunches. Support the XC team!

Report Card Pick Up/ Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 4:30-6:00pm.

GHS Girls' Soccer Condition - October 13-29 from 4:00-5:00pm on Mondays through Wednesdays for players in grades 7-12. You must have an updated physical on file.

PAWS will be having a BBQ Sandwich Lunch on Friday, Oct. 24. You must pre-purchase your lunch using the links on the flyer. The PAWS officers will also be in front of the school on Tuesday, Oct. 21 and 22 to presell tickets as well.
