
Healthy Learners is a non-profit organization that partners with school nurses and local medical providers to offer access to health care to children who are in need and without resources. Cost for health care services, transportation, and follow-up are paid for by Healthy Learners. All referrals to Healthy Learners are facilitated directly by GCSD school nurses.

Good afternoon Seagulls,
Christmas Lunch for grades 3-5 will be tomorrow, Thursday, December 19, 2024. The times will be:
3rd Grade 11:10-11:40
4th Grade 12:10-12:40
5th Grade 11:45-12:15
The cost is $5.50 per person CASH only and a limit of 4 people per child. If you have more than one child, students will eat lunch at their scheduled time. Students will not be removed from their instructional day.

Georgetown County Fire & EMS, in partnership with Wal-Mart, SCDNR, and Georgetown City Fire Department, will be hosting a Winter Coat Drive on Sunday, December 15th from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Wal-Mart in Georgetown.
All sizes of coats are welcomed and appreciated. Coats will be distributed to Georgetown County residents in need.

Want to help your rising 4K or 5K student feel more confident and prepared for school on August 1st?
GCSD is hosting "Shoot for the Stars" on Saturday, July 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the J B Beck Administration & Education Center. The event is open to all rising 4K and 5K students and will include learning and activity stations, school basics, a school bus visit, and much more.
Space is limited and registration is required. Email fcohens@gcsd.k12.sc.us to sign up to attend - include your name, your child's name, and the number of attendees in the email.
