Spring Picture Day

**Weather Make-Up Days on March 21 and May 29 to be Full In-Person Instructional Days** During the March 4, 2025, GCSD Board of Trustees meeting, a plan was approved to make up instructional time lost due to January’s winter storm. * Friday, March 21 – Previously scheduled as a Teacher Preparation Day, this date will now be a full in-person instructional day. All schools will follow their normal schedules. * Thursday, May 29 – Previously scheduled as a half-day, this date will now be a full in-person instructional day. All schools will follow their normal schedules. As a result of these changes, adjustments have been made to the instructional calendar: * The Third Nine Weeks will now end on March 21. * Report cards will be issued on Tuesday, April 1. * The Fourth Nine Weeks will run from March 24 to May 30. Given that several months remain in the school year, additional weather-related closures may still occur. If further instructional time is lost, we will collaborate with the Board of Trustees and communicate any necessary adjustments.

Don't forget!

Good morning,
MES parents, we have been having an issue with signing students out on the computer. PLEASE, at your earliest convenience, check your child/children's POWERSCHOOL account and make sure that your name in the system matches what is on your drivers license. If you are having someone else pick your child up, they will have to be in the system as well and will need their drivers license to remove the child from school.
Please feel free to call me if you have any questions.
Mrs. Britton
