Mrs. Stone’s 4th graders drew different environments and then placed an animal inside that does NOT belong there! Now these young scientists are exploring what it takes for animals to survive by studying the internal and external featuresthat help — or prevent — survival in each habitat.

They’re thinking like biologists as they investigate, analyze, and explain their discoveries — what a way to hook learners into their new PBL challenge! 🔬🐾
