Rosemary is getting into the holiday spirit! ☃️We have A LOT going on in the month of December. Here's the run down!

🎼Don't forget!! RMS Band and Choir will be performing their holiday hits on December 11 at 6PM in the RMS Gym. Please come support our budding musical talents!

🎁We are hosting a school-wide Christmas Toy Drive to benefit Toys for Tots. Students who bring in a toy to donate can earn extra credit points (5 points per toy, up to 20 points) to be applied in ANY of their classes.

👕We are also hosting our 12 Days of Christmas dress up days to help spread the Holiday Cheer!!
Thursday, December 4: Wear camoflauge or animal print to hide from the naughty list.
Friday, December 5: Wear your favorite, coziest flannel shirt.
Monday, December 8: Wear red and white to dress like a candy cane.
Tuesday, December 9: Dress like a character from your favorite holiday movie. 🎥
Wednesday, December 10: Wear green to support the Grinches!
Thursday, December 11: Wear your Cobra Gear or RMS colors to get into the [school] spirit.
Friday, December 12: Wear your [school appropriate] pajamas.
Monday, December 15: Wear winter socks for stomping our Q2 goals! 🧦
Tuesday, December 16: Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater.
Wednesday, December 17: Wear your college shirts to celebrate hope for the future.
Thursday, December 18: Wear a seasonal hat to spread the holiday cheer!
Friday, December 19: Wear your holiday shirts to express your holiday spirit! 🎄

Rosemary is super proud of our readers!! 📚 In September, Mrs. Syler organized a Read with the Gamecocks reading challenge using Beanstack. We had 7 RMS students and one teacher complete the challenge. These Cobras earned tickets to attend 2 South Carolina Gamecock basketball games!!🏀

Good morning, RMS families!! 🇺🇸With tomorrow being Veterans Day, Mrs. Syler is putting the finishing touches on our video honoring veterans close to our hearts. If you'd like RMS to honor a special veteran in your life, email a photo with important information (name, relationship to RMS student, branch and rank in military, etc.) to Mrs. Syler at msyler@gcsd.k12.sc.us. Please have all photos/emails sent by the end of today, Monday, November 10th. ☕️🥞AND Rosemary students are invited to bring their special veterans to come to Rosemary to enjoy breakfast on Wednesday, November 12 from 8:30-9:30.

‼️Red Ribbon Week is next week!!‼️ Rosemary staff and students will be celebrating all week with learning about ways to be drug free. Our spirit days for next week are as follows: 🚨Monday: Wear red to rally to be drug free in a bully free zone 🫥Tuesday: Wear camouflage so the drugs can't find us 🎽Wednesday: Wear a jersey to team up against drugs and bullies 🤠Thursday: Wear western wear so we don't get roped into drugs 💀Friday: Wear Halloween costumes (no masks) to spook the drugs away We can't wait to see all of our cobras celebrating the drug free life!!
