Georgetown County School District will host a Parent & Community Education Night in each attendance zone, with the first session taking place in Andrews. Andrews parents and community members are encouraged to attend, and all parents across the district are welcome.

This session will provide important information about youth vaping, the health risks associated with vaping, and current trends impacting students. Practical prevention strategies and resources available to parents and the community will be shared.

Congratulations to our Panthers whose artwork became the Top Five selections for our Sampit Elementary Christmas Card Contest: Aubrey Moore, Naziah Grant, Emma Fox, Caliese Williams,, and Amora Preston. These five selections were voted on by SES staff and Amora Preston's artwork was chosen to become the Sampit Elementary Christmas card for this year! Our Third Grade students were so excited to host a celebration event to end their unit on the book/story Westlandia by Paul Fleischman. These Panthers used what they were learning across all subjects and spacial areas to collaborate and create their own imaginary lands. They also created websites that they used to present all their hard work to their families, community, and special guests. Way to Go 3rd Grade!
