Help Support Our Future Teachers!

Waccamaw High is raising money for scholarships for graduating seniors who plan to become teachers — through the GCSD Teacher Forum.
Here’s how you can help:
• Stop by the WHS Front Office
• Choose an envelope with the dollar amount you’d like to give
• Turn it in to Ms. Sargent or Mrs. Stewart
• Keep the envelope and enjoy the thank-you gift inside!

This fundraiser leads up to the GCSD Teacher Forum’s “Relay for Education” event on Saturday, November 8, from 11 AM–2 PM at Georgetown High School. This community celebration supports scholarships for future teachers and brings together GCSD employees, students, and families for a fun day of walking laps, school pride, and celebrating education!

Stop by the school and make a donation if you can.

Help us keep our schools great by funding the next generation of teachers!

🐾 Animal Trios in Clay – Mrs. Bucci’s Art I Exhibit 🐾 Mrs. Bucci’s Art I students explored sculpting and glazing techniques to create small clay sculptures inspired by artist Alonzo Clemons. Clemons, a self-taught sculptor, is celebrated for his remarkable ability to capture the grace and movement of animals—often working entirely from memory. His recurring trios of animals represent connection, balance, and the shared energy of the natural world. The Animal Trios exhibit highlights our students’ creativity, craftsmanship, and thoughtful interpretation of Clemons’ work. A special thank you to Mrs. Bucci and her talented Art I students for sharing their artistry with our school community.
