-When entering the pick-up line, please enter Wildcat Way from Willbrook Boulevard. Please do not enter through the public library.
-Parents must sign their child in after 7:35 a.m.
-Students should bring clear water bottles to school.
-Squishys, NeeDohs, and similar toys/items are not permitted at WIS.
-Please check the Student Handbook for additional information regarding school expectations and procedures.

WIS would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to PICC and all of the incredible volunteers who supported our school on Saturday morning. Your hard work—cleaning up our flower beds, spreading mulch, and helping tidy up the outside of our campus—has made a huge difference.

Because of your efforts, our staff and students will enjoy an outdoor environment that reflects the same excellence happening inside our school each day.

We would also like to thank our WIS PTO for providing the mulch and for their continued support of our school community.

We are truly grateful for such a supportive community—it’s a great day to be a Gator! 🐊

Good Evening! Today, Ms. Stacy met with our 5th and 6th grade students to share practical strategies for becoming more successful in school by learning to study smarter, not harder. Our students were an outstanding audience and walked away with tools they can begin using right away.

She encouraged students to:

Stay organized and keep track of assignments.

“Activate Ninja Focus” by limiting distractions and working in short, focused bursts.

Test their memory instead of just rereading material.

Keep their materials and workspace organized.

Remember that success comes from hard work combined with smart strategies.

Please take a few minutes to review the attached flyer and continue these conversations at home. When we reinforce these habits together, we strengthen our students academically and help shape them into well-rounded, confident learners.

Healthy Learners is a non-profit organization that partners with school nurses and local medical providers to offer access to health care to children who are in need and without resources. Cost for health care services, transportation, and follow-up are paid for by Healthy Learners. All referrals to Healthy Learners are facilitated directly by GCSD school nurses.
