Mark your calendar! GCSD has designated eleven days for staff development and/or teacher preparation during the 2023-2024 school year. These days allow teachers an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues, purposefully plan instruction, finalize grades, and grow their professional skills to continue to provide high quality instruction for all students. All dates were included on the previously released 2023-2024 Modified School Year Calendar.
Half Days for Students: September 20, November 8, December 21, April 24, May 30 and May 31
Elementary Dismissal Time: 11:00 a.m.
Intermediate Dismissal Time: 11:15 a.m.
Middle/High Dismissal Time: 12:15 p.m.
No School for Students: October 9, December 22, January 8, March 15 and June 3
