GCSD Board Members Recognized

Georgetown County School District Board Members Randy Walker, Bill Gaskins, Kathy Anderson, Patti Hammel, Robert Cox, Scott DuBose, and Keith Moore have been recognized by the South Carolina School Boards Association (SCSBA). 

  • Randy Walker has been recognized for reaching Level 5 in the Boardsmanship Institute training.
  • Bill Gaskins has been recognized for reaching Level 3 in the Boardsmanship Institute training.
  • Kathy Anderson and Patti Hammel have been recognized for reaching Level 2 in the Boardsmanship Institute training.
  • Robert Cox, Scott DuBose, and Keith Moore have been recognized for reaching Level 1 in the Boardsmanship Institute training. 

The SCSBA Boardsmanship Institute, established in 1982, offers a year-round training curriculum to help Board members develop skills and stay abreast of state and national educational issues. Workshops focus on school law, advocacy and legislation, improving board operations, leadership for improving student achievement, and other timely topics. Level Six 6 is the highest recognition in the Boardsmanship Institute.
