On Friday, February 27th, Andrews Elementary School proudly hosted its annual Multicultural and Black History Celebration. This special event brought together students from every grade level to honor the rich cultures, histories, and contributions that shape our community and our nation.
Our students took the lead in celebrating through a variety of meaningful and creative expressions. The program featured uplifting songs, powerful spoken presentations, thoughtful writing pieces, vibrant artwork, cultural crafts, and engaging grade-level performances. Each presentation reflected the hard work, learning, and pride our students poured into this celebration.
Throughout the program, students highlighted influential figures, shared important moments in history, and celebrated the diverse traditions that make our world unique. Their voices, talents, and confidence truly shined as they educated and inspired everyone in attendance.
At AES, we are committed to creating opportunities for students to learn about, appreciate, and celebrate diversity. Events like this not only deepen understanding but also build empathy, respect, and unity within our school community.
We are incredibly proud of our students and teachers for their dedication and effort in making this celebration such a success.
