Dear Andrews Elementary Families,
We are excited to kick off our Attendance Heroes initiative on September 8th! At Andrews Elementary School, we believe that every day counts, every minute matters, and every student can be a hero!
Regular school attendance is one of the most important ways we can help our students be successful. When students are at school each day and arrive on time, they have more opportunities to learn, grow, build friendships, and shine!
⭐ What Does It Mean to Be an Attendance Hero?
An Attendance Hero is a student who makes coming to school a priority. We want to celebrate students who:

Show Up! — Make every effort to be at school each day.

Be on Time! — Every minute matters, so arrive on time and ready to learn.

Be Ready to Learn! — Come to school prepared and ready to make the most of the day.
🏆 Weekly Attendance Heroes
Each week, one student from each class will be recognized as an Attendance Hero!
Students will be celebrated for their commitment to showing up, being on time, and making school a priority.
Every day that the student is present and on time, they will get an entry for the weekly drawing. Drawings will be on Fridays!
And that's not all!
🎡 Attendance Heroes will get a chance to SPIN THE WHEEL FOR A PRIZE!
We want our students to know that their efforts matter and that we are proud of them for making attendance a priority.
