As we approach the end of the school year, it’s time to start thinking about summer reading assignments. Reading over the summer is not only enjoyable but also crucial for maintaining and improving academic skills. Therefore, our summer reading assignments will contribute to the students' overall academic progress. I am pleased to inform you that this year the summer reading assignment will be counted as a minor grade. Please encourage students to take this opportunity seriously and engage with their chosen reading material. Choosing the right book for summer reading is essential for a fulfilling experience. If a student needs assistance in selecting an appropriate book, please have them reach out to your media specialist for additional assistance. (843-558-6930).
