📰 BIG BLUE NEWS: Georgetown Middle School Announces Updated Testing Schedule

Georgetown Middle School is preparing for an important testing season, and school leaders are encouraging all Bulldogs to get ready to show what they know. With a focus on academic success and student growth, updated testing dates have been officially released for the upcoming SCREADY, iReady, and End of Course assessments.

Students will begin testing in early May, starting with the SCREADY Writing assessment on May 5, followed by Science for sixth-grade students on May 6. The following week will continue with Reading on May 12 and Math on May 13. These assessments are designed to measure student progress and ensure they are meeting grade-level expectations across core subject areas.

Later in the month, students will transition into iReady and End of Course testing. iReady English Language Arts will take place on May 18, followed by iReady Math and Geometry on May 19. Students enrolled in English I will take their End of Course exam on May 20. Makeup testing for iReady will be held on May 20 and May 21 to ensure all students have the opportunity to complete their assessments.

School officials are reminding families that preparation starts at home. Getting a good night’s sleep, eating a healthy breakfast, and arriving at school on time each day will help students perform their best. Teachers and staff are working hard to support students during this time and are confident that the Bulldogs will rise to the occasion.
