Ms. Roper at podium

Voorhees Center of Excellence for Educator Preparation and Innovation (EPI Center) partnered with GCSD with the aim to jumpstart initiatives to improve student achievement in Georgetown County School District (GCSD). Acting as one of KES's School Improvement and Capacity Building Coaches, Ms. Taneika Roper got the approval from KES's principal Dr. Maurice Cobb to coordinate a mentoring and leadership program for boys at KES. (A mentoring group for girls was already started for girls by Ms. Yolanda McCray.)
