Governor Henry McMaster has proclaimed April as the Month of the Military Child or "Purple Up! For Military Kids" in South Carolina.
GCSD has designated April 22 as our day to celebrate students whose service members parents serve and protect our country. We are asking all faculty, staff, and students to wear purple on April 22 to show their support.

From exciting adventures and silly stories to inspiring biographies and creative activity books—there’s something for everyone! Preview Day is Thursday (April 16th), and shopping can begin on Friday (April 17th)!

Thank you so much to the Kiwanis Club for your generosity towards our youngest Koalas! Each Pre-K student was gifted with some books and their very own reading pillow with their name embroidered on it. This gift of reading can last a lifetime!

You are invited to our Black History Program on February 27th. Performances are at 8:30am and 9:30am.
