🌱🌼 Garden Club is Growing! 🌼🌱 We’re excited to share that our Garden Club—open to 3rd–5th graders—had its very first meeting this past Friday! Thanks to materials provided through a grant, our students have already jumped right into action. They are working hard to construct a flower bed with built-in irrigation, while also learning how to properly organize and use mulch, fertilizer, garden soil, and plant food. Students even got hands-on laying cardboard inside the garden bed as part of the preparation process—learning real-life gardening skills every step of the way! 🌿 We are so proud of their teamwork, enthusiasm, and dedication. We can’t wait to watch our garden (and our students!) continue to grow! 🌸 #GardenClub #HandsOnLearning #GrowingTogether

🥧🎉 Pi Day Fun Was a Success! 🎉🥧 Our Pi Day fundraiser was a huge hit, and the results are in! 💥 Mr. Burgess raised $102.59 💥 Mrs. Smith raised $18.48 With the most funds raised, Mr. Burgess took the pie—and he was officially PIED this past Friday! 😄 Thank you to all of our students, families, and staff who donated and participated. It was a fun-filled way to celebrate Pi Day and support our school!

It was so great to see so many of our families come out to support our students and explore all the exciting learning happening at our school. 🎲📚✈️ Passport to Play & Learning – Curriculum Night!

Join us at McDonald Elementary School on Tuesday, March 10th from 4:00–5:30 PM for a fun and engaging evening centered around our theme: Passport to Play & Learning!

Come explore what your child is learning and enjoy hands-on activities that highlight how learning happens through play and engagement. Families will receive a “passport” as you travel through grade levels and discover the exciting academic journey at McDonald!

🍽️ A take-home dinner will be provided for each family.
