Georgetown County School District is excited to welcome Track & Field Olympian and World Champion Melissa Jefferson-Wooden to ALL of our elementary and intermediate schools!
Melissa will visit schools September 24–30 and October 6–9. We are thrilled to provide our students with the opportunity to meet Melissa, hear about her journey, and learn from her experiences as an Olympic athlete and World Champion.
As a Georgetown County native, Melissa’s story is a powerful reminder that big dreams can begin right here at home!
We look forward to welcoming Melissa back to #TeamGCSD and celebrating the connections, opportunities, and lasting IMPACT her visits will create for our students!
Every Role. Every Student. Every Day.
