On Friday, November 15, 2024, PEDIS students and staff took part in "College Shirt Day." Everyone wore their favorite college shirt to show support. The event aims to raise awareness about the variety of schools students can consider attending after graduating high school.
The Drone Club is up and running, and our students are soaring with excitement!

More teacher engagement to increase student engagement through math games, intentional planning & increased student discourse with Jill Livoti, Beyond the Classroom Consultant.
New ELA Standards call for an intentional focus on writing with Dr. Linda Mook. Teachers looked at student's writing and the writing proficiency expected at each grade level to plot their student's progress as we embark on a journey into the "Being A Writer" curriculum.
Students engaged in mathematical problem solving with Mrs. Billings in the STEM Lab during the morning enrichment block while focusing on multiplication of two digit numbers, multiplying fractions and single digits. Way to go scholars!!
PEDIS teachers immersed in Everyday Math Professional Development focused on the 8 Mathematical Processes for more in-depth teaching and to help students understand mathematical concepts and apply them to learning.
October 2024 was filled with so many activities. On October 16 we celebrated our Principal, Mr. Darryl Stanley for Bosses Day as well as National Principal's month. Thank you Mr. Stanley for all that you do at PEDIS!!!!
