Want to help your rising 4K or 5K student feel more confident and prepared for school on August 1st?
GCSD is hosting "Shoot for the Stars" on Saturday, July 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the J B Beck Administration & Education Center. The event is open to all rising 4K and 5K students and will include learning and activity stations, school basics, a school bus visit, and much more.
Space is limited and registration is required. Email fcohens@gcsd.k12.sc.us to sign up to attend - include your name, your child's name, and the number of attendees in the email.
We can't wait to "Shoot for the Stars" with you on July 20!

Charleston Stage, the resident theatre company at the Historic Dock Street Theatre, will present a free fully staged, professional production of Last Stop on Market Street. This is a free hour-long captivating and uplifting musical adaptation of Matt de la Pena's acclaimed children's book, produced as a part of Charleston Stage's free CityStage Community Tour.

The 3rd Quarter STREAM Student Showcase was held on Tuesday, March 19, 2023. Here are a few examples of the work completed by students. Students in each grade level designed and created models to demonstrate their understanding of what they learned in their science classes.

The Pleasant Hill Elementary STREAM Academy Kindness Challenge Service Project will take place from March 1, 2024 through March 25, 2024. The Kindness Challenge Service Project will benefit the animals at the Saint France Animal Center. A list of supplies can be found on the attached flyer. Students will receive PBIS points for items donated. Items can be dropped off in the front lobby of PHESA.

Pleasant Hill Elementary STREAM Academy Presents: Gallery of Heroes
Our Black History Program including a Living History Museum will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 9:00am in the school auditorium.


Friday, February 2, 2024 will be AVID College Day at PHESA! Students and staff are encouraged to wear their college gear to represent a college or university. Friday February 2nd will also be our monthly club day.


Purpose Kidz will be hosting a Winter Camp for students ages 5-12 from Dec. 22 - Jan. 8. To learn more about the camp, visit missionsfornations.com/child-care and click on "Find Out More" under Georgetown SC or scan the QR code in the flyer. Please share information about the camp with your families (flyer attached). You can share via your website, social media, as parents ask, or post the information in your school.
