Our 2025-2026 school year has been BUSY!! Since the students started school on August 1, we've celebrated them, their accomplishments, and special people in their lives.
To celebrate good behavior, students were treated to a Cobra Cookie Break during their exploratory classes on August 28. This event recognized students who haven't had any office referrals since the beginning of the year. Approximately 300 students enjoyed a cookie, a drink, and extra recess time.
On September 5, our students were celebrated for their gains on iReady. Students were served snow cones and given time outside.
September 9 was the date of our first RMS Cobra Club meetings. After choosing their top 3 clubs, students were placed in one of 16 clubs. Cobra Club options include Art, Wiffle Ball, Basketball, Cheer, Cosmetology, Line Dance, Flag Football, Soccer, Gaming, Volleyball, Guitar, Jewelry Making, Crochet & Knitting, Drama, Pokemon, and Robotics. Clubs will meet every other week and gives students an opportunity to create new friendships and strengthen old friendships with students who share the same interests.
The last big celebration Rosemary held was a time to celebrate the grandparents and grand-friends that help support Cobra students. On September 10, our guidance department organized a Grandparent's Day Breakfast to allow time for grandparents and grand-friends to enjoy breakfast with their student.
Rosemary thoroughly enjoys any opportunity we get to celebrate our students' accomplishments. We look forward to many more celebrations as our year continues! Let's Go, Cobras!!
