Counting Down to Winter Break

🎄December 2025 was a busy time for the Rosemary Cobras! 🎁

🏀Basketball season officially started on December 1 with a game against Lee Central. Our Cobra basketball athletes practice hard and play even harder! We're excited to see the outcomes of our upcoming games throughout the month of January. Let's go, Cobras!!

👷On December 10, our guidance department organized Career Day presentations for our sixth and seventh graders. Our students met the presenters in the gym as they walked from table to table to learn about career options from the people who live them everyday. We thank the people who donated their time to teach our students about local job opportunities. A big thank you goes to Georgetown Kraft Credit Union, Georgetown County Department of Public Services Stormwater Division, Georgetown County Sherriff's Office, St. Francis Animal Center, Peddinghaus, and our very own assistant principal Mrs. Wilson.

🧸Our Toys for Tots Toy Drive ended on December 11, and our students and staff donated nearly 100 toys and books to local children. Because of our giving, we helped local children have a brighter Christmas season.

🎼Our RMS band and choir students performed holiday tunes in concert at the Band and Choir Holiday Concert on December 11. This performance was held in our RMS auditorium at 6 pm. All of our students performed wonderfully. We cannot wait to see how these student musicians grow in their musical abilities.

🧦To liven our hallways and help us count down to our Winter Break in style, our assistant principal, Mrs. Wilson, planned out 12 Days of Holiday Dressup. These days included a [school-appropriate] pajama day, an ugly sweater day, a holiday sock day, and a Grinch themed day. It was great to see our staff and students come together to get into the holiday spirit.

🥳New Year, New Semester: Now that we're starting our second semester, we are looking forward to all the wonderfully exciting things that Rosemary has in store for 2026!!
