GCSD Families-
In an abundance of caution due to expected inclement weather, including severe thunderstorms with damaging winds and possibly strong tornadoes, all GCSD schools and facilities will be CLOSED on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. All school activities, including athletic events and practices, scheduled for Tuesday, January 9 are canceled/postponed.
Tuesday, January 9 WILL NOT be an eLearning day. Instead, eLearning will be held on Tuesday, February 20, one of the district's scheduled eLearning/Inclement Weather makeup days.
GCSD district administration will continue to monitor conditions across our county. We expect a return to normal operations on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Please check local media, the district website, and our social media page for the latest information on school closings or delays.
