Make an IMPACT this fall: GCSD Spectator Guidelines & Clear Bag Procedures

Fall sports are underway across Georgetown County School District, and we are excited to welcome families, students, alumni and community members back to our athletic events for the 2026-2027 school year.

This year, GCSD is focused on IMPACT — Inspire, Motivate, Prepare, Achieve, Connect and Transform. Our spectators have an important role in that IMPACT. Showing up for our student-athletes, demonstrating good sportsmanship and helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment all contribute to a positive experience for our students and our community.

As you make plans to support #TeamGCSD this fall, please review the GCSD Spectator Guidelines and Clear Bag Procedures that apply to all GCSD middle and high school athletic events.

Spectator Guidelines

To help provide a safe environment for students, staff and spectators:

  • All attendees are subject to screening by security staff.

  • GCSD Clear Bag Procedures will be enforced at all entrances. All approved bags are subject to inspection by security staff.

  • Students in grades 9-12 must present their current school ID if they wish to enter the stadium without being accompanied by an adult.

  • Students in Pre-K through 8th grade must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older to enter the stadium. Adults should not leave students inside the stadium with plans to return to pick them up after the game.

  • Re-entry will not be allowed. Attendees who choose to leave the stadium must purchase a new ticket and be re-screened by security before entering again.

  • Entry gates will close at the end of halftime.

  • Concession stands will close at the end of the third quarter.

Individuals who violate these or other safety procedures may be prohibited from attending future athletic events.

Be There. Be Loud. Make an IMPACT.

Our student-athletes put in countless hours preparing to represent their schools and communities. One of the best ways our community can support them is by filling the stands and creating a positive atmosphere at GCSD athletic events.

Come out, wear your school colors, cheer on our teams and help us make a positive IMPACT throughout the fall sports season.

Every Role. Every Student. Every Day.
