SC Association of Educational Office Professionals 42nd Annual Conference

Office Professionals representing over 85 school districts and educational institutions converge on Greenville for professional development and networking opportunities.

February 18, 2024 – On February 15-18, 2024, over two hundred and forty Office Professionals from across the state of South Carolina gathered for professional development, networking, and a reveal of the rebrand of the SC Association of Educational Office Professionals at the Hyatt Regency in Greenville, SC. The three-day event’s theme, “Purposed by Design: Cultivate. Innovate. Excel,” was comprised of breakout sessions, recognition and awards, and the installation of the 2024-2025 Board. The event culminated with a closing Keynote. Speaker Ron Harvey, a powerhouse in leadership, encouraged attendees to elevate, celebrate, and collaborate.
This year’s conference revealed a three-phase rebranding of the organization, two service projects - Homeless. Shoe Box project and MUSC Children’s Hospital/Katey Kuddly Comforts. Scholarship recipients, recognition of Professional Standards Program, and the awarding of SCAEOP’s Administrator of the Year, Dr. J.R. Green (Superintendent of Schools - Fairfield County), and Office Professional of the Year, Ms. Jennifer Hedrick, CEOE (Richland 2). 
“As Directors of First Impressions, we must rekindle our motivation for the practices and purposes we pursue. This conference allows us to refresh, connect, and collaborate for a profession we love!” exclaimed one of the conference attendees.
