As part of our Standardized Test Incentives, high-achieving students earned an unforgettable Educational Field Trip to Topgolf! These students scored big on their tests: • 90+ on EOC • 22+ on ACT • 1100+ on SAT • 4+ on all WIN sections • 51+ on ASVAB We’re so proud of their hard work and determination. This trip was well-earned and a great way to celebrate their commitment to academic success. Check out the photos from the trip — smiles, swings, and serious fun all around!

🎓It's Graduation Day🎓 Information concerning graduation is below. Please read carefully! Safety and security remain the District’s top priority. Please be aware of the following safety protocols and procedures: * Metal detectors and/or Open Gates will be used. Law enforcement and safety officials will be present. * Clear Bag Procedures will be enforced. Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” will be allowed. * Prohibited items include but are not limited to: firearms/knives/pocket knives/concealable weapons; mace/pepper spray; coolers; alcoholic beverages; laser lights/laser pointers/strobe lights; fireworks/explosives; artificial noisemakers; inflatables (beach balls, etc.); balloons; and signs. * Guests are permitted to bring sealed bottles of water. All other food and beverages are prohibited. * The use of any tobacco product, electronic cigarettes, or vaps is prohibited on all District property, including but not limited to, school buildings, athletic facilities, District vehicles, and parking lots. The weather forecast will be monitored daily. In the event of rain or inclement weather, the scheduled graduation will be moved to the high school’s gymnasium. Due to capacity restrictions, only ticketed guests will be permitted into the gymnasium or auditorium. Tickets will be marked for entry. Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

Our Lady Jackets Basketball Team is hosting their 1st official girls basketball camp!! Any girls 6-14 years old, sign them up today!! Let’s get our young girls back active and excited about playing again!! Deadline to register is June 12th.

*** AHS SENIORS! *** Tomorrow is graduation eve!!!! We will begin walking at Andrews Elementary AT 8 A.M. We ask everyone to meet at AES at 7:45. Please wear your caps and gowns for the walks. Then we will be marching through the halls of AHS one last time at 9 A.M. We will be entering through the cafeteria entrance and making our way to the 400 hall --> 500 hall --> 600 hall into the main gym for graduation practice. Graduation practice is mandatory!! After practice we will be heading to Sampit Elementary at 10:30 Senior parade will begin line up at 4. Parade will take place at 4:30. Then back to AHS for our senior sunset! Please remind your friends and family to line the streets of Andrews to cheer you on! It’s a full day, but a fun one! AND your last as a current yellow jacket! Thursday night you will turn your tassels and become alumni! Let's show that famous AHS spirit one last time! 🖤🐝💛

His leadership, passion, and commitment to our student-athletes have left a lasting legacy, and we are incredibly grateful for all he has done for our school and community. As we turn the page to a new chapter, we’re proud to announce that Coach Lamar Brown is the new Yellow Jacket Assistant Athletic Director! Coach Brown brings a wealth of coaching experience and a contagious enthusiasm that will no doubt continue to elevate our athletic programs. Ms. Rogers’ English 3 Honors class brought The Crucible to life last week with an exciting and thought-provoking mock trial! Students put Elizabeth Proctor on trial for witchcraft, using their argumentative writing and public speaking skills to make compelling cases for her innocence or guilt. Roles included defense attorneys, prosecutors, witnesses, the defendant herself, and a jury tasked with delivering the verdict. It was an engaging way to explore the themes of justice, hysteria, and morality—while sharpening real-world communication skills. Great job to all the students for their hard work and creativity! Andrews High School is proud to announce the Class of 2025 Valedictorian and Salutatorian! Valedictorian: Alex Young. He is the son of Alan and Amy Young with future plans of enlisting in the United States Air Force. Salutatorian: Gracie Swinnie She is the daughter of Bobby and Terra Swinnie with future plans attending the University of South Carolina Congratulations to these outstanding Yellow Jackets!
