At the May 6 Board Meeting, Georgetown County School District proudly recognized the 2025 recipients of the Dr. Celeste Pringle Turnaround Achievement Award. Now in its second year, this award celebrates students who have demonstrated exceptional growth—academically, socially, or personally—through perseverance, improved performance, and positive contributions to their school communities. Each student selected for this honor met the criteria of strong academic standing, excellent attendance, and positive behavior, embodying what it means to “turn it around” and succeed. Celebrating Excellence at the GCSD “Of the Year” Banquet! We are so proud to recognize two outstanding members of the Andrews High School family: Mr. Miller, our Band Teacher, who has worked tirelessly to rebuild and grow our band program. Ms. Berry, our beloved Cafeteria Manager, goes above and beyond every day to make sure every student feels at home.
