We celebrated World Kindness Day yesterday here at AHS. Students and Staff enjoyed choosing and performing a random act of kindness. Such a great and positive way to start the week!

In recognition of World Kindness Day we are encouraging everyone to express kindness by wearing a cardigan in the spirt of Fred Rogers or a yellow shirt. Staff and students will also have an opportunity to do a random act of kindness throughout the day!

It's GAMEDAY for our Yellow Jackets🏈🖤💛🐝

Student athletes dream of playing at the next level. But how do you reach the next level? It is a process by which the NCAA reviews a student-athlete’s academic and athletic credentials to determine their eligibility to compete at the collegiate level.
Come learn the basics about the NCAA Clearinghouse. This session is for any athlete from grades 9th to 12th.

For the last 4 Mondays, the First Tee Program has worked collaboratively with GCSD to host a school day program for all 4th Grade students in GCSD. This program gives young people the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals of golf as well as core values such as Honesty, Respect, Sportsmanship, Confidence, Leadership, and Responsibility. These Pictures were taken at Cherry Hill Country Club in Andrews, just one of the sites for the school day program. The Group picture is of AES and the individual pictures have students from AES and PES.

We will host our First Round Playoff Game this Friday Night against North Central!! Kickoff is at 7:30pm.

An Important Message from Georgetown County School District and Andrews High School:
A bomb threat was called in to Andrews High School this morning. The GCSD Safety and Risk Management team and law enforcement have responded. The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office has evacuated the building and students have been relocated to the Rosemary Middle School gym. GCSO is activating additional resources to ensure that the school is thoroughly inspected. This process will take a considerable amount of time.
As a result, Andrews High will dismiss at noon (12:00pm) from Rosemary Middle School. Student drivers and bus riders will be released at noon. Andrews High parents picking up their students will need to pick them up from the Rosemary Middle gym beginning at noon. GCSD staff will be on-site to assist with dismissal. We appreciate your patience as we prepare for an early dismissal and ensure the safety of our students.
