GCSD will be hosting a Parenting Events on Tuesday, October 29 at 5:30pm in the board room of the JB Beck Administration & Education Center. The event will be a panel discussion on the topic of bullying. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend. The attached flyer includes a link to a QR code or web address where families can RSVP and submit questions to be included in the panel discussion. Dinner will be provided to all who attend.
The AHS 2025 Senior Class are selling 50/50 raffle tickets from now until half time of the Homecoming Game! This will be a cash prize that you will receive upon winning! One ticket is $5.00 or 5 tickets for $20.00! Ask a senior committee member about buying your ticket today! 💛🐝🖤

It's time to get The Band Back Together!! Dust off those instruments and join our band for the Homecoming Game and the Alumni Basketball Game!!
To kick off Bully Prevention Month, on Friday, October 4th AHS recognized World Smile Day! Students and staff members were encouraged to spread kindness by sharing a compliment or doing something for someone else and swapping "smiley" pins. To add a competitive flair to the challenge, the students and staff members with the most pins by the end of the day won a prize. Our student winner was Karaline Gainey, a 10th grader here at AHS. She collected over 80 pins by making time to say a kind word or make a friend or two laugh during the day!
We invite you to attend the Fall Curriculum/ Report Card Pick-Up Night, where our team will provide information, answer questions, and facilitate a prize drawing.
