Last week HTC Reel Kids Program provided Samiya Thomas the opportunity to go to the Aquarium. We, here the Ferry are so proud of Samiya and all of strides she is making as a leader student! And thank you for HTC for this opportunity.
As we enter into March, we, Brown's Ferry Elementary School for the Creative and Performing Arts, take this moment to acknowledge Women's History Month! In 1987, the U.S Congress designated the month of March as Women's History Month in observance of the many accomplishments throughout history women have contributed. To every daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister that has contributed to making this world a better place we express our gratitude towards you.
