GCSD held its annual Special Olympics on yesterday and our children truly enjoyed themselves! We would like to thank Mrs. Snowden and Mrs. Bromell for organizing and making sure that our kids were in attendance! Thanks to Ms. Gibson for assisting on this trip. Last week HTC Reel Kids Program provided Samiya Thomas the opportunity to go to the Aquarium. We, here the Ferry are so proud of Samiya and all of strides she is making as a leader student! And thank you for HTC for this opportunity.
As we enter into March, we, Brown's Ferry Elementary School for the Creative and Performing Arts, take this moment to acknowledge Women's History Month! In 1987, the U.S Congress designated the month of March as Women's History Month in observance of the many accomplishments throughout history women have contributed.
